Bentley Atelier Mulliner is developing a unique machine. Insiders have no doubt that this will be a grand tourer with an open cockpit, made based on the prototype EXP 100 GT and having a W12 engine.

According to Autocar agency, the barquette will appear in a small circulation – approximately 120 units – and will be sold at a price of 1.5 million pounds.

  Outwardly, the grand tourer will look like the prototype EXP 100 GT, which was shown as part of the celebration of the centenary of the brand. In addition to the appearance, the show car will borrow exclusive finishing materials, such as wood extracted from peat bogs, and fabric made from by-products of winemaking.

 In connection with the cost and circulation, the unique Bentley will stand apart from the main lineup. And technically it will be the same Continental GT. The car will be equipped with a 6.0 liter W12 – on the coupe, the biturbo engine develops 635 hp. and 900 Nm. Together with the motor, an 8-band ZF preselective “robot” functions. The drive is likely to be full. A barquette should not have a roof, for this reason it may turn out to be more dynamic than the Continental GT, which accelerates to 100 km / h in 3.7 seconds.

Talking about the source of inspiration for the new product – the electric coupe EXP 100 GT – it appeared very revolutionary for getting into the “series”. But certain decisions may well apply to future cars. For example, the virtual assistant Bentley Personal Assistant, which can create the feeling of an open-top ride in the cabin, or an exclusive interior lighting system.

In addition, Bentley recently showed off a Bentayga crossover with a 7-seater saloon. This option is available for customers in Europe and the USA.
