Bentley talks about the remote control of the cabin in Flying SpurApril 10, 2020
Most luxury salons already have a special “remote control” that allows you to customize various functions.
Bentley introduced its remote control to configure various options in the cabin, such as climate control, raising curtains and so on. It’s called the Touch Screen Remote (TSR), and thanks to its 5-inch display, it looks more like a phone than a bulky tablet.
According to the company, it allows passengers to control luxury cars, and this makes it expensive thanks to its polished diamond-finished metal finish.
The TSR has a display resolution of 1280×720 and is held by built-in magnets in the center console. It is powered by a quad-core processor and 1 GB of internal RAM.
So what can you do with TSR? For example, to adjust the tilt of the seats and the volume of the lumbar cushion, heating and ventilation, they will include massage, heated armrests, as well as full access to climate control, interior lighting, open a panoramic sunroof, blinds, and control 18-speakers of the Naim audio system.
You can also use an additional lighting system. However, TSR will also allow you to access a variety of vehicle information: current vehicle speed, external temperature and a full navigation interface.
