Not so long ago, there was information that for the British at the present time is in full swing preparing a more powerful engine.

The fact that for the medium-sized crossover Bentayga is developing a more powerful engine, was confirmed in a recent conversation with Stefan Sielafa, who is a designer at Bentley.

It is reported that the work on creating a charged version of the crossover is now in full swing. Note that for the first time the car was announced back in April 2016. Mr. Sielefe also said that the novelty will be “quite different in design from the usual performance of the model.” He also added that the Bentayga crossover will receive other changes, but he did not go into any details.

There is information that the 6.0-liter W12 biturbo engine will be seriously upgraded in order to increase its power – now this figure is 600 horsepower (maximum torque is 900 Nm). Due to high power, the crossover can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 4.1 seconds. There may also be a slight increase in the maximum speed, now this figure is 301 km / h.

So far, there is no data about when we can see the novelty, it is unlikely that the brand management will decide to show the production car before next year.
