Bentley introduced the limited edition Bentayga with pearl salonMarch 19, 2019
The car was dedicated to pearl fishermen and will be released in a very limited edition – only five copies. An order for five unique cars, trimmed with dark eucalyptus and mother-of-pearl, came from a client of the brand from the Middle East.
Bentley and Mulliner, the court atelier, presented a unique series of Bentayga own crossovers of five cars. All cars were made by special order of the client from the Middle East and are devoted to the history of pearl mining in the Persian Gulf.
The main distinctive feature of the model will be pearl trim and a unique body color for white pearls. Mother of pearl was used to trim a decorative insert of veneered dark wood with the image of Arab boats, as well as to trim Breitling watches. The rest of the salon is also made in the color of natural pearls and received a line of golden thread, special door sills with Mulliner inscription, a safe in the center armrest, sheep wool rugs and embroidery with the car number in the series.
As the power unit on all five cars Bentley Bentayga Pearl of Gulf will be used 6.0-liter engine W12, capable of developing up to 600 horsepower and 900 NM torque. The cost is not reported.
Meanwhile, the Bentley introduced the new Continental GT coupe with a 550-horsepower turbo engine. The model has a good dynamics and efficiency.
