Bentley has released the 40,000th Flying SpurSeptember 30, 2020
This was reported by the press service of the brand.
According to published data, the Bentley plant in the British city of Crewe has produced a 40,000-seat Flying Spur car. During the 15 years of existence on the assembly line, the car has gone through three generations of generations. The latest generation has earned the title of “Best Car in the World”.
All Bentley cars are assembled by hand, and Flying Spur is no exception – each car takes about 100 hours and 250 people. It is worth noting that not so long ago Bentley reported the delivery of 20,000 such cars to China, which is half of the total circulation of the model.
Recall that the flagship sedan of Bentley is equipped with a 6-liter gasoline W12 with four turbines with a capacity of 626 hp and 900 Nm of torque. This power unit allows a luxury car to accelerate from standstill to 100 km / h in 3.8 seconds, and its top speed is 330 km / h.
