Bentley has left Europe without the most powerful diesel SUVOctober 3, 2018
The company has withdrawn from the sale version of the Bentley Bentayga engine with a “heavy fuel”
Bentley has decided to stop selling the Bentayga model in the European diesel market, which is called the world’s fastest SUV with a heavy-duty engine. This is due to the tightening of legislation and requirements for motors of this type.
Diesel Bentayga was introduced two years ago. The SUV is equipped with a four-liter “eight” with triple supercharging (two conventional turbines and an electrically driven supercharger) delivering 435 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. From zero to 100 km/h such a car can accelerate in 4.8 seconds. Maximum speed – 270 kilometers per hour.
In addition to the diesel version, the Bentayga family also has a modification with a gasoline biturbo V8 engine with a capacity of 550 forces and a 608-horsepower six-liter W12 engine.
