The Bentley brand has long been associated with automotive luxury. While his cars are exquisite on the outside, the level of craftsmanship in the Bentley’s interiors is breathtaking, and the new Flying Spur luxury sedan is no exception.
With the end of production of the Mulsanne, the 2020 Bentley Flying Spur will become the leading car of the British automaker. The future flagship is powered by a 626 horsepower 6.0-liter W12 twin-turbocharged W12 engine with 900 Nm of torque, which is transmitted through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Acceleration to hundreds of such a sedan takes only 3.7 seconds, and this with a weight of about 2,440 kg.
Inside, Flying Spur offers luxurious solutions to match its flagship status. According to Bentley, more than 80% of buyers choose the Mulliner for its quilted diamond seats, three-dimensional leather door panels, all-leather trim, embroidered Bentley emblems and much more. The Flying Spur will also have some impressive backseat features that will make it the perfect luxury limousine.
Bentley highlights some of the interior features of the Flying Spur, which are designed to help passengers in the rear seats feel the same as in the front. In the center console, a multi-function 5-inch touch screen allows rear passengers to control climate control, window blinds and even Flying B decorations from the ground. These rear seats are equipped with heating and ventilation, as well as 14-position adjustment with five massage modes.
Customers can also opt for a rear-seat passenger entertainment package that adds two removable 10.2-inch Android tablets with 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as Bentley infotainment controls. For the best sound, Flying Spur offers a 2200-watt Naim audio system, 21-channel amplifier and 19 speakers, including Super Tweeters, two bass transformers mounted on the seats and a backlit grille.
For added luxury, you can chill out two full-size champagne bottles or any other drinks you might want on hand with the existing fridge built into the rear armrest. Not only technical features make the back seat special – the quality of the material is the best. Customers can choose from fifteen different skin colors and eight veneers to create their own individual characteristics. Embroidery, emblems and contrast edging add even more unique options to the overall mix.
