Became known the start date of sales of the new crossover Honda BreezeNovember 8, 2019
The new compact crossover based on the Honda CR-V is ready to conquer the Chinese car market. The novelty is called the CR-V analogue, while it surpasses its “donor” in size and has a number of external differences.
Honda will begin selling the new mid-size crossover Honda Breeze on November 30. According to preliminary data, in Chinese car dealerships, the cost of new items starts at 180,000 yuan. In technical terms, Breeze is considered a complete analogue of the current Honda CR-V. In this case, between these crossovers you can find many differences. One of them is size. The Breeze is larger than the Honda CR-V: its length has grown by 47 mm to 4,634 mm, its width reaches 1,585 mm, its height is 1,679 mm, its wheelbase is 2,661 mm.
Also, the novelty receives new bumpers, a modified hood, a different radiator grille, advanced optics and LED taillights of the original form.
Under the hood of the Honda Breeze is a one and a half liter turbo engine rated at 193 hp, working in tandem with a six-speed manual transmission or CVT variator. A 215-horsepower hybrid will also be available for purchase, which includes a two-liter “aspirated” and two electric engines. Here, the variator takes on the role of the transmission. The drive can be front or full.
Among the Breeze equipment we can distinguish adaptive cruise control with the function of movement in traffic jams, automatic emergency braking and blind spots control systems, video surveillance cameras and much more.
