It had information about the trim levels and available engines for the revived Ford Bronco Sport SUV. Now this information is confirmed by an application to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), which was submitted by representatives of the brand. So, the car received only two engines and five trim levels.
The new SUV will be offered with either a three-cylinder 1.5-liter turbocharged engine or a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engine.
Data on the power of these power plants is not yet known, but since the Bronco Sport will be based on the same platform as the compact crossover Escape (Kuga), it can be safely assumed that the output will be 180 horsepower (240 Nm) and 250 h.p. (373 Nm), respectively.
Now about the trim levels for the new Ford Bronco Sport. Instead of the S, SE, SEL and Titanium versions that are familiar to American automakers, the novelty will be offered in trim levels that are named after the national parks of the United States. These include Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Badlands, as well as First Edition. It is also reported that absolutely versions of the SUV will be offered with all-wheel drive.
It was previously mentioned ten body colors for the Bronco Sport: Alto Blue Metallic, Area 51, Cactus Gray, Carbonized Gray, Cyber Orange Metallic, Iconic Silver, Kodiak Brown, Oxford White, Rapid Red Metallic and Shadow Black, contrasting black or gray roofs are also available. . It will be possible to choose two options for 17-inch wheels, as well as several interior designs.
