Bayern footballer fined for driving not on AudiApril 18, 2020
The midfielder of the Bayern Munich Kingsley Coman decided to be fined for violating the sponsorship contract. A player of French descent came to training at the McLaren 570S Spider sports car, and not at the club Audi. This is reported by Bild.
The exact amount of the fine that the club will impose on the 23-year-old footballer is still unknown. According to unofficial data, the athlete will pay about 50 thousand euros. Kingsley Coman himself has already apologized to Audi and separately to the employees of this company’s plant in Ingolstadt. According to him, he could not use the club machine due to the fact that she had broken glass.
“I would like to apologize to the club and Audi for not coming to training on a company car. The fact is that my Audi has damaged glass. Despite this, I admit my mistake. As soon as possible, I will visit the plant in Ingolstadt to communicate with the workers personally, ”the player said.
The collaboration between Bayern and Audi has been going on for 17 years. At the beginning of the year, the Munich team extended the contract with the automaker until 2029. In addition, Audi owns an 8.33% stake in Bayern.
