Fiat Company has presented the updated version of a compact city hatchback 500. The public debut of a novelty has taken place on a motor show in Chicago. The main competitors of the car will be the Mini models.
The car already in the basic version received a 1.4-liter gasoline turbo. The power of the unit is 135 horsepower. The engine works in conjunction with a five-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic.
The novelty will be offered in three versions – Pop, Lounge and Abarth. The car is equipped with a sports suspension, 16-inch wheel disks, an upgraded braking system, a spoiler and modified optics. Also there were new body colors – Brilliante Red, Mezzanotte Blue Pearl and Vesuvio Black Pearl.
The “charged” modification of the Abarth is also equipped with a 1.4-liter motor. However, for this version, the engine power was increased to 160 horsepower.
The current generation of the model was updated two years ago. Then after restyling the Fiat 500 received about 1800 changes in the exterior and interior design.
