We are talking about the Quirky Baojun E300 and E300 Plus models, capable of traveling about 305 kilometers without recharging.

Baojun has launched the miniature electric cars E300 and E300 Plus, which fit perfectly into the rhythm of life of a modern metropolis. Such compact citycars are inexpensive: their prices start at 64,800 yuan. The maximum price tag reaches 69,800 yuan

Both electric cars receive a battery of 31.9 kWh and support the fast charging function (in just an hour, the car will be able to recharge up to 80%). Full recovery of energy through a 220 V outlet will take 15 hours.

A 53-horsepower electric motor drives the rear wheels. Its resource is enough to accelerate the mini electric car to a maximum of 100 km / h.

The version with the Plus prefix differs from the standard E300 in dimensions and the number of passenger seats. So, the length of the earlier E300 is only 2 625 mm with a wheelbase of 1,750 mm. These sizes are designed for two to three passengers. For the E300 Plus, the wheelbase was increased to 2,020 mm (length 2,894 mm). Thanks to this, the number of seats has grown to four.

In the manufacture of their electric car bodies, the automaker used 80 percent high-strength steel, and a battery with an active shut-off system was also made of heavy-duty steel. This is another point in assessing the safety of new products. In general, such “green” cars get standard security systems, as well as front “airbags.”

Already in the “base”, customers can count on a multifunctional steering wheel, a virtual dashboard, adjustable seats and aluminum wheels. Also available for these models is Baojun’s intelligent communication system, which supports voice control, navigation, etc.

Both electric cars get a two-tone color: the roof is black, but the body shade can be chosen from five colors.

Meanwhile, AC introduced the Cobra electric roadster. The novelty was called AC Cobra Series 1 Electric. The electric motor running on a battery of 54 kWh is responsible for its performance.
