A new model of the compact electric sitikar Baojun E200 was introduced in China. A special feature of the car was a unique geometric design, a length of 2.5 meters, and a range of up to 200 km.

It seems that quite recently the whole network discussed the appearance of a small citycar from China, surprisingly similar to all well-known Smart cars – Baojun E100. However, the peculiarity of the model then was a fully electric power plant with a power reserve of up to 200 km and a top speed of up to 100 km / h.

But already the second model of a new line of electric cars from Baojun – E200 was presented. Now the car surprises with its “geometric” design. And it should be noted that the car turned out quite interesting, with a stylish, but quite bold design.

The dimensions of the car slightly exceed the first model, and are 2,497 mm in length, 1,526 mm in height, and 1,616 mm in width, with a wheelbase of 1,600 mm.

It’s already clear that a new chief designer was working on the E200, replacing Steve Yumu. “Beginner” acts boldly, albeit controversially. Now the emblem of the electric car looks stylized under the plug of the electric plug. How to open the trunk is not yet clear, and small wheels with a size of – 145/70 R12.

And the uniqueness of design can be traced in the interior. Here, the finish is striking with the use of bright red plastic. The front panel is again made in “geometric” and minimalist style. On the glossy surface to the right of the steering wheel are made touch buttons. The parking brake is awarded to a separate pedestal.

In the technical part, there will be no surprises. As the power unit will still be used electric motor with a maximum output of up to 29 kW (39 hp). As a power source, a battery with a capacity of up to 19.2 kWh will probably be used. This will provide the electric citycar with a power reserve of up to 200 km of track.

Of course, the car is still presented exclusively in the form of a concept, and it is possible only in photographs. Therefore, it is too early to talk about any terms or costs.
