BAIC’s updated copy of the Jeep Wrangler will hit the marketSeptember 14, 2019
Chinese auto giant BAIC will bring to the market an updated version of the Beijing F40, similar to the legendary Jeep Wrangler. The novelty will be presented the day after tomorrow (September 16). The new version is built on the platform of the popular in China SUV Beijing BJ40.
Note that the design of the new BJ40 pickup truck is taken from the legendary SUV Jeep Wrangler. The novelty has the same silhouette, optics and even the radiator grill is very similar.
According to some information, the Beijing F40 received a new off-road body kit, expanders for wheel arches, as well as LED optics. In addition to the body, an updated multimedia system with a modified and enlarged touch screen, as well as support for voice control, will be installed in the interior.
The car is equipped with a turbocharged 3.3-liter engine, developing a capacity of 250 horsepower. This engine is paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive system.
It is worth noting that the updated Chinese SUV Beijing has a premium version of the F40 Plus. It has adaptive cruise control, a system for keeping the car in the lane and automatic braking in case of danger, all-round cameras and many others.
The price of the basic version of Beijing F40 in China starts from 130 thousand to 150 thousand yuan. The cost of luxury equipment starts from 204.9 thousand yuan,
