British automotive company Briggs Automotive Company (BAC), has created a single car that will become the world’s first so-called “climatically positive” vehicle that will remove more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere than it emits into it.

It is reported that to create such an environmentally friendly car, the guys from BAC have teamed up with the non-profit organization Poseidon Foundation, which deals with environmental issues.

“We are very pleased to team up with the Poseidon Foundation and with their help become the first ever climate-positive automaker,” said Ian Briggs, co-founder of BAC and design director. “We are already implementing some measures in our cars, thanks to which it is possible to reduce the amount of emissions of harmful carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. In particular, when designing our cars, we use lighter materials, so their total weight becomes smaller. We are confident that working together with the Poseidon Foundation engineers will allow us to further protect the environment. ”

The fact that the British company BAC is going to introduce the world’s first car that will pay off more carbon dioxide than it releases into the atmosphere should not surprise. Engineers of the brand have already developed the world’s first hybrid carbon-composite wheels and body panels from the innovative graphene material, thanks to this material, the panels are very thin and light, and they are strong enough.

The current mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson is leading the program to reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere, it is expected that by 2020, this figure will be reduced by 35%. The news about the new ideas of the guys from the BAC, thanks to which it will be possible to further help the ecology of the city, delighted him.
