Austrians have submitted 1343-hp hypercarJuly 30, 2018
A young Austrian company, Milan Automotive, unveiled its first model – a 1343-hp hypercar with the name Red. The car will be able to compete with Bugatti Chiron.
Milan Red, which received a carbon body, was equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine with four turbines, developing 1343 horsepower. Thrust is transmitted exclusively to the rear wheels.
Hypercar, whose mass was 1300 kg, can accelerate from place to 100 km/h in 2.47 seconds, and its maximum speed was 400 km per hour. For comparison, Bugatti Chiron dials the first 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, and its maximum speed is limited to 420 km per hour (to remove the limiter, a special key is required – in this case the claimed max speed is 485 km per hour).
Australians are planning to release 99 of these cars, the cost of each of which, according to preliminary data, will be about 2 million euros. At the moment, Milan Automotive has received 18 preliminary orders for its first model.
