Austrian chimney sweep Josef Hughes demonstrated his collection of Volkswagen Golf cars, which number 114 cars, including very rare specimens. He plans it in the museum – the opening is scheduled for next spring in a suburb of Vienna.

“When I first got into Golf, it seemed to me that the car was created specifically for me. Everything was exactly as I like: the driver’s seat, the pleasure of driving, the convenience of everyday use,” – Yusa said.

At first, Josef Hughes went to work on the Caddy van, with his family – on the usual “Golf”, in the summer – on a cabriolet, in the winter – on the modification of Country, and sometimes went to the roads and the “charged” GTI. According to him, he had a separate “Golf” for all occasions. Then, at one of the exhibitions of old timers, he saw one of the first serial copies of the model, and wanted himself the same. This is the beginning of his collection.

In the collection of Yuza can be found as usual serial VW Golf, and rare specimens. For example, he has “Golfs”, converted into a garbage truck, a camper, an airplane ladder, as well as a car from a pre-series lot with sliding doors, a 210-horsepower all-wheel drive car, issued in 71 copies, and even the first electric car built in 1981.

Also in the collection are luxury, racing, rally and tuned cars. One of the features of the collection is the Golf with a mileage of one million kilometers, which, according to the owner, is still in excellent condition.
