Audi’s official plan for 2019 publishedJanuary 31, 2019
2019 promises to be quite a tense year for the German brand Audi, which will introduce several new models for several segments at once. Foreign journalists who were invited to an event held by the Spanish division of the company were able to capture the presentation slides, which show the automaker’s plan for this year.
According to this document, in the second trimester of the current year, we will see the next-generation off-road wagon A6 Allroad, an updated version of the TT sports coupe in the more powerful RS version and the European version of the hot RS5 Sportback.
The third trimester will be filled with premieres, including updated versions of the Q7 crossover and A4 sedan. A pair of new electrified models of the E-tron family are also planned – this is a crossover Q5 E-tron and a fastback A7 E-tron. The crossover Q family will expand with the compact Q4, which will receive a coupe body. By the way, the novelty will be called “Q4”, and not “Q3 Sportback” as mentioned in some sources. The third trimester of this year is scheduled to start sales of the updated RS7 Sportback.
By the end of 2019, we will be presented with two more models of the E-tron electric family – the A8 L E-tron and E-tron Sportback, as well as the brand new generation of the 5-door A3 hatchback. The RS family will be expanded with the RS Q3 and RS6 Avant.
Interestingly, there are some models that we hoped to see on the slideshow, but in the end there are none. We are talking about the “charged” crossover SQ8, A1 Allroad and S7 Sportback.
