Audi will bring a new e-tron concept and four hybrids to GenevaFebruary 10, 2019
Less than a month remains before the Geneva Motor Show, and we are starting to learn more information about the upcoming Audi e-tron concept.
The model, which will be presented on March 5, has been announced as a “compact premium SUV”. This is not such detailed information, but judging by the preliminary data, we are talking about an analogue of the Q3 model.
The concept will be built on the MEB platform from the VW Group, which is designed specifically for electric vehicles, and will also be used in the upcoming Volkswagen ID Neo hatchback. In fact, the crossover will be a related model of the hatchback, as well as the new compact electric car from Seat – all three models will be manufactured at the Volkswagen plant in Zwickau in Germany.
The technical parameters of the model are still unknown, but Volkswagen earlier stated that the MEB platform will be available with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, as well as with a modular battery pack that will allow models to travel from 320 to 550 kilometers per charge.
In addition to the new concept of the crossover, Audi uses the Geneva Motor Show to present four hybrids. One of them will be a hybrid crossover Q5, as for the others, it is probably worth waiting for the A7 e-tron and A8 e-tron.
