One of the most long-awaited electric cars on the world market has already been named the Audi e-Tron crossover. And the debut of the novelty has been postponed for an indefinite period, but the company decided to declassify the interior design.

Despite the fact that the official presentation of the pre-production prototype was held as part of the Geneva Motor Show in March this year, Audi e-Tron still remains uncovered. In the spring, a car was introduced, under camouflage tape, and the presentation of the serial version was planned for late August-early September, but the event was delayed due to “organizational problems” (possibly related to the arrest of one of the company’s top managers).

Audi at a special event in Copenhagen introduced the interior of the electric crossover e-tron. A feature of the novelty equipment were five displays, a Bang & Olufsen surround sound system with 16 speakers and an amplifier with a power of 705 watts, and virtual mirrors.

The architecture of the front panel of the SUV is made in the stylistics of the latest models of the brand: A6, A7, A8 and flagship Q8. This is a few tiers, which housed the virtual instrument panel, the central display of the infotainment system and the touch screen for controlling the air conditioning system.

On the doors, just below the glass, there are two more seven-inch displays on organic light-emitting diodes. They broadcast a picture from the cameras, which act as side mirrors. In total, there are three modes of information display: highway, turn and parking.

The Audi e-tron will be driven by a pair of electric motors with a total capacity of 360 horsepower. In the sports mode of operation of the control electronics, the output of the unit can briefly increase to 408 forces. With a battery of 95 kilowatt-hours per charge, the e-tron is capable of driving up to 400 kilometers (according to the new WLTP measurement cycle).

From a place to 100 km/h an electric all-terrain vehicle can accelerate in less than six seconds. The maximum speed in this case is about 200 kilometers per hour.

The public debut of the Audi e-Tron will take place in September. The all-terrain vehicle will be on sale next year. The cost of the novelty will be at least 80 thousand euros.
