Audi unveiled the exterior of the electric e-tron GTNovember 27, 2018
Audi has published the first photos of the concept car e-tron GT, which will premiere at the motor show in Los Angeles. The production car will become the flagship of the German brand electric line and will be designed to compete with the Tesla Model S.
The prototype is hidden behind camouflage, however, it is clear that the new product is a five-door liftback with large wheels, rear diffuser and other aerodynamic elements. A number of stylistic elements were borrowed from the new generation Audi A7 Sportback.
According to unofficial data, the Audi e-tron GT is built on the same platform as the Porsche Taycan. The novelty will be able to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km / h in less than four seconds, and its maximum power reserve will be 400 kilometers without recharging. The serial production of the Audi e-tron GT will be launched in 2020.
The first Audi product model with a fully electric powerplant was the e-tron crossover, which was introduced in the fall of 2018. The novelty is driven by two units, which together are capable of producing 360 hp and 561 Nm of torque. The car can accelerate from a standstill to 100 km / h in about six seconds and drive up to 400 kilometers without recharging.
