Audi tests updated Audi Q5August 30, 2019
The German automaker has slightly modified its compact crossover.
Audi is currently upgrading almost its entire lineup. Currently, cars get only a light facelift, but in a couple of years a new generation of cars, including SUVs, will be released. The Q5 crossover was also included in the list of models that will receive an update, despite the fact that it debuted only last year.
Judging by spy shots, the novelty will receive a revised grille, which will become more rectangular. Also, optics and bumpers will undergo changes, possibly – fenders and exhaust pipes
The interior is unlikely to receive significant changes relative to the current Q5, but it is possible that the touch screen of the multimedia system will grow to a diagonal of 10.1 inches. Large displays, of course, are a modern trend, and facilitate the process of updating the cabin without changing the layout of the center console.
Also, new finishing materials and color solutions will appear, not to mention updating the software for the MMI multimedia complex. There are no changes planned in the Motor Range – it will all be borrowed from the current version of the Audi Q5. Probably, the model will be presented in a couple of weeks at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
