The updated roadster Audi R8 Spyder can get an upgraded 5.2-liter engine, the power of which will increase to 630 horsepower
Company Audi has begun road tests of the updated version of a supercar R8 Spyder – the test prototype of the car has been photographed in Germany. It is assumed that the premiere of the roadster will be held in late 2018 or early 2019, reports Motor1.
It is assumed that the shape of the optics changes slightly with the spercar. In addition, the model after restyling will receive other bumpers, branch pipes of the exhaust system of a modified form, and an upgraded rear diffuser.
Whether the power unit of a roadster is subject to changes, it is not known yet. The current supercar in top performance Plus is equipped with a 5.2-liter atmospheric V10 engine, developing 610 hp and 560 Nm of torque. The current Audi R8 Spyder Plus can accelerate from its place to the first 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, and its maximum speed is 328 km per hour.
In this case, this motor has a greater potential. So, for example, on the coupler compartment Lamborghini Huracan Performante, which retained the title of the fastest production car of the “North Loop” Nürburgring, the 5.2-liter V10 produces 630 forces and 600 Nm.
