Audi stand in Geneva will consist only of electrified carsMarch 1, 2019
Audi has confirmed that by 2020 it will release three new models of the E-Tron series, and only electrified cars will be on its stand at the Geneva Motor Show.
The striking concept of the E-Tron GT will be the central model, and the new Q4 E-Tron concept, the E-Tron crossover and its brother-like E-Tron Sportback will be presented. In total, no less than four fully electric versions will be shown, as well as four new hybrid existing lineups.
In addition, in a few weeks in China, Audi will show the new E-Tron Q2 Electric, as well as commercially available versions of the E-Tron GT and Q4 E-Tron, which will go on sale in 2020. As for the E-Tron Sportback coupe-like crossover, its production version will be presented before the end of 2019.
According to the chairman of the Audi board of directors, the company has set a clear goal – every third Audi car sold by 2025 will have an electrified powerplant.
The flagship model is planned to make a unique sports car E-Tron GT, which will use the same platform as the Porsche Taycan – the concept implies a power of 582 hp. and acceleration to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds, and up to 200 km / h in 12 seconds with a range of more than 400 kilometers per charge.
