It is reported that while the above models will be sold in Europe. There is no doubt that in the near future full information will be published about these cars, including the price.
The 3.0-liter V6 TDI, with which the high-performance SQ5, S6 and S7 models are equipped, is now also available for the S4.
This powerful diesel engine offers 342 horsepower, already at 3850 rpm and a high enough torque of 700 Nm, which is available from 2500 rpm. This engine benefits from an electrically powered compressor for faster energy delivery, while a soft hybrid installation provides increased overall efficiency.
It is reported that the “charged” S4 TDI will accelerate to a speed of 100 km / h in 4.8 seconds, while the wagon (Avant) is one tenth of a second slower due to its slightly heavier weight – 1895 kg versus 1855 kg for the sedan . Regardless of body type, cars come with an electronic maximum speed limiter, programmed to accelerate to only 250 km / h.
It is expected that in the automotive markets outside the Old Continent, both the Audi S4 sedan and wagon will be offered with only a 3.0-liter 349 hp V6 TFSI petrol unit. (500 Nm).
