Audi RS Q8 prepares for debut on November 20
October 16, 2019The Audi Q8 family will soon receive the best version of the RS, probably already on November 20.
Situated above the SQ8, the sports coupe will become a more affordable alternative to the Lamborghini Urus, albeit with less power, as it is expected that the 4.0-liter twin-cylinder V8 that produces 641 hp. in an Italian super-SUV, will be tuned to 600 hp in the crossover.
Unlike its counterparts, the BMW X6 M, Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupe and Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupe, the RS Q8 will have a more sporty appearance, which is emphasized by custom-made bumpers, side body kits, a large diffuser with double exhaust pipes, oversized wheels and a sports suspension with less ground clearance than the SQ8.
The interior will also be slightly updated: sports front seats, RS badges and new upholstery will appear. In addition, the RS Q8 needs to get special driving modes from other top-end models developed by Audi Sport, along with typical technical features such as the latest MMI infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital dashboard screen, both with some RS graphics.
In terms of price, the RS Q8 will be more expensive than the SQ8, prices for which start in Germany from 102,900 euros and come close in price to the Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupe, which is offered at a price of 146,662 euros
