Audi RS Q8 made a “killer” Lamborghini UrusJune 21, 2020
Atelier Lumma Design introduced a tuning kit for the fastest crossover Audi.
German craftsmen from Lumma Design are ready to turn the Audi RS Q8 into the “killer” Lamborghini Urus. The tuning studio showed the renderings of the original body kit for the crossover, has already carried out all preparations for the software forcing the engine, announced the prices of the package of upgrades and opened the reception of applications. In carbon and metal, the project will be implemented by the end of autumn.
The hallmark of the Audi RS Q8 from Lumma can be called an ultra-aggressive carbon body kit. Designers are ready to cover the glossy decorative elements of the appearance with carbon fiber overlays, install composite side skirts, wheel arch extensions, a completely new front splitter, rear spoilers, a diffuser, other exhaust nozzles and complement the image with homemade wheels with a complex pattern.
In order for the Audi crossover with a wide-body body kit to surpass the Lamborghini in terms of dynamic characteristics, Lumma motorists have developed a software module that makes it possible to increase power from 600 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque to 704 horsepower and 910 Nm. Acceleration dynamics are not disclosed, but the Lamborghini SUV with the same V8 4.0 unit with a return of 650 horsepower is unlikely to be faster.
Lumma stylists claim that they are ready to work on the RS Q8 salon: the studio is simultaneously developing several interior improvement projects. It will be proposed to alter the interior with leather in different colors, equip the crossover with branded rugs and decorate the RS Q8 with a special decor.
Upgrading the Audi RS Q8 from Lumma will cost at least 38 thousand euros. The list of changes includes body kit, chip tuning of the power plant, local improvement of interior decoration and delivery of a converted car within Germany. The price is high, because for a comparable amount, competitors from Wheelsandmore are ready to increase performance to 965 horsepower and 1250 Nm, as well as install air suspension.
