Audi revealed the design of the production crossover Q8May 29, 2018
The German manufacturer continues the teaser campaign of its novelty, releasing the next image.
Recall, the premiere of the new flagship crossover Audi Q8 will be held on June 5. Until that time, the company plans to release five video episodes in the form of artistic promos, in parallel publishing teasers in the form of sketch design.
At first Audi published a sketch with the image of the crossover stern, while the second image shows the front part of the model. On it it can be concluded that the serial car will be by design not much different from last year’s concepts Q8 and Q8 Sport.
By the way, it is worth noting the differences in the design of the radiator grille in comparison with the previous novelties of the brand. Judging by the sketch and concepts, the Audi Q8 will have the same huge radiator grille, but with an even more massive frame and pronounced vertical ribs, rather than horizontal ones.
The embossed hood, high-tech LED optics are designed to give the new Q8 a unique look. On the previous teaser, the car’s forage was shown with a solid stop light bar across its entire width and trapezoidal exhaust pipes integrated into the bumper. Underbody and front protection in combination with side skirts complement the cross-sporting look of the Q8.
The crossover Audi Q8 is based on a single platform c Lamborghini Urus, as well as previously presented Bentley Bentayga, Volkswagen Touareg and Audi Q7. Interior design Q8 will be executed in the style of the latest novelties of the brand – Audi A8, A7 and A6. The public premiere of the novelty will be held at the Audi summit in Shanghai on June 5.
