Audi R8 V10 supercar offered in the anniversary version of the DecenniumFebruary 28, 2019
The German company decided to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the V10 engine, which is used in the Audi R8 supercar.
On December 8, 2008, the German company Audi introduced the R8 supercar in a more powerful version, which received an aspirated 10-cylinder engine – the car was first shown on the Internet. The official debut took place in January 2009 at the Detroit Auto Show. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of this engine, the automaker decided to offer customers an exclusive version of the R8 V10.
Back in October of last year, Audi introduced the upgraded performance of its supercar – the car was named the R8 V10 Plus. The model received a pleasant matte hue of the Daytona Gray body contrasting with the bronze intake manifold of the FSI engine and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Anniversary version of the car in 2019 was named R8 V10 Decennium. It is available in several metallic body colors: Ascari Blue, Kemora Gray, Mythos Black, Floret Silver and Suzuka Gray.
Moreover, the supercar received glossy black elements that are located on the front spoiler, side sills and rear diffuser. Even the company logo / badges and those are black, like most of the interior, where only the line is made of bronze color to complement the look of the cabin.
Under the hood, the new V10 will be 620 hp, with a maximum torque of 580 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h will take 3.1 seconds, and the maximum speed will be 331 km / h.
A total of 222 Audi R8 V10 Decennium units will be collected, each of which will have an exorbitant price of 222,000 euros in Germany.
