Audi R8 received a new special versionSeptember 23, 2020
The Audi R8 has received a new special edition called Green Hell, which pays homage to the R8 LMS, which has won five victories in the Nurburgring 24 Hours endurance race since 2012.
The German company drew inspiration from the # 1 R8 LMS with its dark green body when developing the new special edition. However, the special modification is also available in colors such as Ibis White, Daytona Gray and Mythos Black.
Regardless of the shade chosen, the model has matt black accents on the bonnet, roof and A-pillars. It is also worth noting the presence of black matte side mirrors, side “skirts” and a rear diffuser. Other features include 20-inch matte black wheels with red accents, and black Green Hell R8 logos on the sidewalls and upper windshield area.
Speaking of the interior of the Audi R8 Green Hell, there are bucket seats in Alcantara, contrasting blue-green stitching, special floor mats and a steering wheel with a combination trim.
The special version is equipped with a 612-horsepower 5.2-liter V10 engine, together with a 7-speed S tronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive system. This motor allows the car to accelerate to 100 km / h in 3.1 seconds and accelerate to a maximum of 331 km / h.
The R8 Green Hell will be limited to 50 copies. As for the cost, in Germany, the special variant will cost from 233 949 euros
In addition, it was recently noted that a performance sedan Audi RS3 2021 is being tested at the Nurburgring. It should be emphasized that this novelty of the German car manufacturer can get performance under 450 hp.
