Audi Q3 Sportback: a new competitor for the BMW X4 and Mercedes GLC CoupeSeptember 1, 2019
Audi Q3 received a rather brutal appearance, which is emphasized by individual glossy elements and wheel arches.
The Sportback model has acquired a large number of parts borrowed from the standard Q3. For example, the interior has a 10-inch dashboard and a 12-inch cockpit.
The luggage compartment of the model is 530 liters. The only difference from the Q3 is that the Sportback has a steeper roof pitch.
At the same time, these models differ in size. So, the Sportback length exceeds the similar parameters of Q3 by 16 mm. Also, the model will be lower by 29 mm, which is why at first glance it seems that its length has also increased. To give the model a more athletic appearance, it was equipped with an aggressive rear end.
The car was named Sportback precisely because of the slope of the roof. This is also due to the appearance in the equipment of a sports suspension and the Audi Drive Select system, which will allow you to choose the desired driving mode.
If we talk about power plants, motorists will be offered a two-liter engine with 220 horsepower. In addition, two-liter diesel engines of 150 and 190 horsepower are offered. Diesel and gasoline units work together with quattro all-wheel drive and S Tronic seven-band robot (basic version) or six-band mechanics. Now the automaker plans to introduce a new 1.5-liter gasoline engine along with a soft hybrid.
It is announced that in the fall of 2019, the Audi Sportback Q3 will begin shipping to the European market.
