Audi PB 18 e-tron Electric Supercar: the first imageJuly 30, 2018
At the Elegance Competition at Pebble Beach in August, Audi will present a prototype of a supercar with an electric powerplant. A design project called PB 18 e-tron will demonstrate how the company sees a “driver’s” car in the near future.
The leanoman sports prototype R18 e-tron served as an inspiration for Audi PB 18 e-tron: the technological solutions used in it were transferred and adapted for the concept car. There is no detailed information on the powerplant yet. Probably, it will appear closer to the date of the debut.
The electric supercar can become the flagship of the “green” Audi line, the first of which is the crossover e-tron – will debut in September. Simultaneously with the presentation of the SUV, Audi will begin to take pre-orders for the novelty.
Audi e-tron is one of three electric models that will debut until 2020. In the US dealerships, the crossover will appear in the first half of next year. Together with e-tron, Audi will introduce home charging stations and an appropriate “ecosystem”.
