Audi is testing a prototype of the updated RS3 hatchbackMay 18, 2020
The German brand is testing a camouflaged prototype of the high-performance Audi RS3 2021 model year. The car was spotted on the Nurburgring race track.
Several prototypes of high-performance German news were captured by journalists on the Nurburgring race track. A more powerful version of the premium hatchback should be presented either at the end of this year, or at the beginning of 2021. “Four rings” plan to show a less powerful performance of the S3, as well as the RS3 sedan version.
It is expected that the updated Audi RS3 Sportback will have a more powerful version with the prefix Performance.
While the usual “charged” five-door hatchback should have about 400 “horses”, the Performance modification boasts up to 450 hp. – This is exactly what the journalists from foreign publications tell us. This would allow Audi to regain the title of manufacturer of the most powerful compact car that it had previously lost to Mercedes-AMG with its 416-horsepower A45 S.
Meanwhile, the noted camouflaged prototypes of the Audi RS3 2021 model year showcase their wider wheel arches and oval tailpipes.
