Company Audi has presented a special version of the supercar R8 V10 plus with a prefix Performance Parts in the title. The coupe received a lightweight design, improved aerodynamics and some stylistic changes.
A new aerodynamic body kit made of composite material included another front splitter, modified air intakes, other side skirts and rear diffuser, and a large fixed rear fender. Thanks to the upgrade at a speed of 310 km / h, 250 kg of clamping force is reproduced – 100 kg more than the standard car.
In addition, the supercar received an improved suspension with adjustable shock absorbers, and ceramic front brakes with titanium supports and new alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Cup 2 tires.
The power unit of the supercar has not undergone any changes. Audi R8 V10 plus is equipped with a 5.2-liter atmospheric 10-cylinder engine developing 610 hp and 560 Nm of torque. The sound of the engine has become louder thanks to the use of a new exhaust system.
A total of 44 copies of the Audi R8 V10 plus Performance Parts will be released. In the UK, the cost of the novelty will be 176,560 pounds sterling
