Audi-Horch limousine first caught on photoJanuary 25, 2021
The model is a luxury limousine Audi and is positioned as a competitor to the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.
The premium German brand Audi has begun testing its Horch limousine Audi. The model will become the flagship and will cost the most among all the auto brand. Also, the car will be iconic – it is she who will receive the last W12 engine for Audi. The basis for the novelty will be the A8 executive sedan, which should receive an update very soon.
In the Horch modification we will see a longer wheelbase, due to which there will be more space for rear passengers. In the case of the Mercedes-Maybach, the wheelbase is 180 mm longer than the standard version. Something similar can be expected from Audi. Compared to the standard version of the Audi A8, the limousine will receive a different radiator grille, a different wheel design and brand logos on the body.
But the most interesting is the interior, especially the second row of seats – there is something really interesting to offer in Audi. But the powertrains will be significantly different from the A8.
We will not see gasoline V6 and diesel engines, but the powerful 6.0-liter W12, which will work in tandem with the 8-speed automatic transmission, will please.
In all likelihood, Audi-Horch will also receive an all-wheel drive system. The limousine is expected to go on sale in late 2021 or early 2022.
Earlier it became known that Audi will lay off about 10 thousand of its employees. This will happen against the backdrop of a shortage of components for assembling machines, which will lead to downtime in enterprises.
