Audi has published a video with a high-performance crossover SQ8 2020July 8, 2019
The press service of the German brand has published videos with the most powerful diesel version of the full-size crossover Audi SQ8. The car costs only 102 900 euros
After the “charged” version of the full-size Audi SQ7 crossover, as well as the diesel versions of the British Bentley Bentayga and the German VW Touareg with a powerful V8 under the hood, was shown to the Audi SQ8. Perhaps the most stylish of all of the above cars, the flagship crossover from Ingolstadt went to the beautiful city of Tarbes in France, where the guys from Audi shot a couple of videos about him.
It makes no sense to argue with the statement that the Audi Q8 stands out from the crowd and looks even more special in the SQ8 specification. These videos give us the opportunity to take a closer look at the appearance of the new product with these contradictory quadruple exhausts. It seems that only the inner tips are real, and the outer tips are not related to the actual exhaust. This is still better than what is implemented in the SQ5 crossover, where you can see all four false holes (like real connections). In addition to exhausts, the SQ8 has a very aggressive design and is somewhat similar to the Italian Lamborghini Urus crossover – these two crossovers actually have a lot of common components and assemblies.
The Audi SQ8 diesel SUV is by far the more affordable of the two, because it costs “only” 102,900 euros in Europe, where it is actually the most powerful diesel engine available.
It has a capacity of 429 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque – under its hood is a 4.0-liter diesel V8 twin-turbo with a “soft” hybrid system and an electric compressor that helps turbines at low revs. The car also received four-wheel drive, all-wheel steering, an 8-speed automatic transmission and an air suspension with an optional sports differential.
Over time, there will also appear a more powerful RS Q8, which will receive a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 gasoline engine with 563 hp.
