Audi e-tron Sportback passes winter testsFebruary 26, 2019
Here are new photos of the test prototype of the all-electric Audi e-tron Sportback, seen during the winter trials. The beginning of the mass production of environmentally friendly news should begin at the end of this year.
It is expected that a fully electric Audi e-tron in a more powerful Sportback version will use the same engine and battery as the new e-tron crossover as a power unit. The latter was the first such crossover in the history of the German premium brand.
At the moment there is official information that both environmentally friendly models will be produced at the automaker’s manufacturing facilities in Brussels, Belgium.
Unfortunately, at the moment there is no new information about the Audi e-tron Sportback.
Here are the technical specifications of the conceptual version of the Audi e-tron Sportback, introduced in 2017. The model received a 95 kWh battery, thanks to which a power reserve of 500 km was provided (measurements were carried out according to the standards of the European NEDC cycle). The power of an electrical power plant, which consists of two motors, is 370 kW or 503 hp Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 4.5 seconds.
By the way, there is “fresh” information that German engineers are currently working on an off-road version of the Audi E-Tron, which according to tradition will receive a prefix to the name Allroad.
According to a recent Audi schedule, the serial production of the e-tron Sportback is due to start at the end of this year.
