Audi spoke about the success of its electric crossover Audi e-Tron. According to the results of six months of this year, dealers of the brand have sold 17 641 copies of this model worldwide. This figure surpassed last year’s result by 86.8%, despite the industry crisis due to the coronavirus pandemic.
With such results, the electric car from Audi is clearly ahead of its rivals in the segment. It is noted that the e-Tron was named the most popular electric SUV in Europe. The electric crossover shows excellent sales in Norway: here this model accounts for 92% of all brand sales.
In addition, deliveries of Audi e-Tron to a number of countries increased: Iceland (93%), Sweden (12%) and Israel (14%). In the American market, the German electric car also feels quite confident – the demand for the model has grown by more than 50 percent.
In the company itself, the success of the Audi e-tron is associated with the convenience of this model: a spacious interior, manufacturability, good range, and high charging speed. The degree of consumer confidence in the electric car is also growing thanks to test drives and tests, which the car successfully copes with.
