Spy photos, which caused mixed reactions, appeared on the foreign portal Motor1. The car is still in dense camouflage, but it does not attract attention, but standard side mirrors that are equipped with rear view cameras, fixed by a spindle connection.
At this step, the engineers went to see how the implemented new technologies will work in real conditions. After all, in many countries around the world, transport authorities have banned rear-view cameras, and only traditional “mugs” are allowed. The exception is Japan, where the cameras have been officially put into operation since 2016.
Recall that the pre-series crossover Audi E-Tron Quattro first introduced in 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show. And he was also in a deaf camouflage. During this event, representatives of the company said that they had prepared about 250 copies for testing under different conditions.
The novelty from Audi places under the hood two electric motors on each axis, the total power of which is 436 hp. But it can also temporarily give out a maximum of 503 hp. Ion-lithium battery with a capacity of 95 kW / h will allow to travel on one charge of 400 km.
