Audi began selling cars onlineMay 27, 2019
Service earned in Germany and while there is only one model
For the first time, Audi will offer its customers to purchase a car online, without the need to visit a dealer. From June 5, 2019, sales of the exclusive Audi TT version called Quantum Gray Edition will begin on the German website of the brand. The price of the car is 62 305.03 euros.
The pilot project will be implemented on a platform that Audi has been using for online sales of used cars since the fall of 2017. Customers will be offered the Audi TT Quantum Gray Edition with special décor and equipment that is not available for a model when purchased at a dealership. Through the site, the buyer can leave a request for the registration of the car, as well as choose one of the available financing programs. At will, the car will be delivered to any place in Germany.
Helping with online shopping will be a special consultant. At the request of the client, he will be able to show, for example, the vehicle interior in real time. At the same time, dealerships will continue to play an important role for the company, which will become an integral part of online showrooms. It is expected that by the beginning of 2020 they will help the company to significantly increase the number of models offered.
