Audi announced the imminent appearance of the RS 6 AvantNovember 27, 2019
Representatives of the company managed to intrigue the audience – according to them, the car became more powerful and at the same time more efficient.
Audi will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of RS models with the advent of a new car – it will be the RS 6 Avant. The company’s management claims that the new car will open a new chapter for the company in the field of high-performance cars. Under the hood of the car is a 4.0-liter V8 engine with two turbines, which is capable of delivering 600 horsepower with 800 Nm of torque. The power plant will work together with an 8-speed automatic transmission and the proprietary Quattro all-wheel drive system.
The magnificent dynamics of the new car amazes – it picks up the first 100 km / h in 3.6 seconds.
The maximum speed is 250 km / h, but everyone understands that if you remove the limiter, the car will go much faster. The fuel consumption in the combined cycle is not very high – 11.5 liters per 100 km of track. The manufacturer also managed to reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere – now this figure is 268 g / km. The new Audi RS 6 Avant will appear in dealerships in Germany and Europe by the end of this year. The leadership of the German company hopes for a confident start to sales.
