Atelier Wald turns Suzuki Jimny into a brutal SUVMarch 23, 2020
Having been in the workshops of a Japanese tuning studio, this compact SUV began to resemble the legendary Gelendvagen.
The SUZ Suzuki Jimny is very fond of tuners: on its basis, spectacular, and sometimes a little crazy, projects are created. So the guys from the Japanese studio Wald could not get past this SUV, thoroughly finalizing the fourth-generation Jimny. After the upgrade, “Jimny” began to look like a brutal all-terrain vehicle in the spirit of the German “Gelendvagen”. Such a car fell into the hands of one of the company’s private clients. To achieve similarities with the world-famous Mercedes-Benz G-Class, the compact SUV was equipped with a special body kit, as well as reconfigured the suspension.
So, the tuned Jimny gets a new bumper with LED stripes, a dimensional radiator grill with a vertical pattern, an athletic hood with grown air intakes and massive wheel arch extensions. Not without off-road tires. Rims, by the way, it was decided to toned.
Also, the tuners inflicted a special protective composition against scratches on the body of the SUV.
As for the suspension, the experts changed the usual springs and shock absorbers to reinforced ones. In addition, the car’s ground clearance was increased, making Suzuki Jimny even more adapted to off-road conditions.
