Atelier Roush introduced the modernized pickup Ford F-150 5.11 Tactical EditionJanuary 22, 2020
Under the hood of an American pickup in tuning from the Roush studio is a 650-horsepower V8 engine. Roush plans to build 150 Ford F-150s in 2020.
Roush Performance, a tuning company known for its impressive designs based on the Ford Mustang sports coupe, has now completed all work on a new powerful truck. The car received the designation Roush F-150 5.11 Tactical Edition. In working on a full-size 2020 model year pickup truck, Roush atelier worked with 5.11 Tactical, a company that produces outfits and clothing for first aid providers. Roush plans to build 150 Ford F-150 pickups in 2020.
Under the hood, the Roush F-150 5.11 Tactical Edition has a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine. In its standard form, the engine produces 395 horsepower.
After installing the Roush TVS R2650 supercharger, this figure rises to the mark of 650 hp. (813 Nm), which is 200 “horses” or 149 Nm more than before. The increase in power is provided by the presence of an active exhaust system Roush with four modes: Touring, Off-Road, Sport or Custom.
Without tactical features, the truck would not have received its name Tactical Edition. The pickup comes with a 5.11 tactical kit that includes a multi-tool, a Roush sports bag, a signature hat, a US flag bag, and more.
The truck is also equipped with an off-road Roush suspension system with black 22-inch rims wrapped in 33-inch tires. The car received another false radiator grille and a unique light “signature”.
