Tuning company Posaidon has decided to add performance to the Mercedes-AMG S63 coupe.
So, the tuners have prepared four levels of boost for the German model. The first, worth 52,000 euros, provides for an increase in the power of the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine from 603 hp. (900 Nm) to 927 hp (1280 Nm) due to high-efficiency turbines, a sports air filter, a water / methanol injection system with an additional tank, as well as a firmware update for the engine and transmission. This recoil allows the German coupe to accelerate to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds and accelerate to a maximum of 350 km / h.
In addition, for 29,990 euros, the specialists of the atelier can boost the engine of a German coupe to 868 hp. (1200 Nm), which will allow the model to gain the first 100 kph in 2.9 seconds at a maximum speed of 350 km / h. A performance increase to 818 hp is also offered. (1100 Nm) for 24,000 euros and up to 690 hp. (950 Nm) for 4200 euros. In the first case, acceleration to 100 km / h takes three seconds, and in the second – 3.2 seconds.
Posaidon also added that they are preparing to offer customers an increase in the power of the Mercedes-AMG S63 to 968 hp.
In addition, some time ago, information about the power units of the new Mercedes-AMG C63 appeared. It should be emphasized that the premiere of this new model of the German automobile manufacturer is scheduled for February 23 this year.
