Atelier Mansory has presented a completely wild version of the Ferrari PortofinoMay 9, 2021
The well-known tuning studio Mansory showed a modernized version of the Italian convertible Ferrari Portofino. The Italian supercar has received a modified appearance, as well as a more powerful engine.
Controversial tuner Mansory has unveiled a slew of tuning projects in recent months. The Portofino is their third modified Ferrari this year after a wild rework of the F8 Tributo and 812 GTS supercars released earlier in 2021. The German aftermarket specialist is especially proud of the folding hardtop, which is now completely forged carbon fiber.
Numerous body superstructures are of the same lightweight construction, and you can see these updates from almost every angle. The front bumper and bonnet vents are forged carbon fiber, as are the side skirts and mirror caps. Even the pillars and door handles are in the same color scheme, which continues at the rear with a subtle spoiler lip on the lid and a not-so-thin front splitter.
Rounding out the changes on the outside are custom wheels with a yellow rim to match the body color.
They measure 21 “at the front and 22” at the rear and represent Mansory’s new wheel designs that will be available for all Ferrari-based tuning projects later this year.
The interior of the Portofino is upholstered in black leather with bright yellow accents that visually connect with the brightly colored exterior. With the exception of the black emergency light control and the three gearbox buttons representing the Italian flag, the rest of the switchgear was painted yellow. There is no prancing horse branding on the steering wheel as the center cap has been replaced with a Mansory logo surrounded by carbon fiber.
The tuner also upgraded the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which develops 591 hp as standard. power and 760 Nm. It now produces 710 hp. (890 Nm) to outperform the newer Portofino M (Modificata).
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that the automaker Ferrari presented a coupe and convertible with the most powerful V12 engine in its history. The Italian concern has released two new versions of the brand’s flagship – the 812 Superfast supercar.
