Atelier Inkas introduced an armored version of the crossover Lincoln Navigator LApril 9, 2020
This armored performance of a luxury American crossover can withstand explosions from two hand grenades at the same time. The car now complies with international safety standards BR6.
Inkas, a company in Toronto (Canada) specializing in booking vehicles, decided to take the luxury crossover Navigator L as the basis for its future project.
The crossover received ballistic protection for the ceiling and floor along the entire perimeter, premium laminated ballistic glass, an upgraded suspension, high-strength tires, emergency lighting and an emergency warning system that will be used in case of emergency.
According to the creators of the car, the luxury crossover now meets the BR6 protection level, which means that it can withstand 7.62×51 mm or 308 Winchester FMJ ammunition. Even more impressive, its body can withstand explosions of up to two hand grenades simultaneously.
Under the hood is a turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost twin-cylinder engine delivering a maximum power of 450 horsepower (691 Nm). Power is distributed between the four wheels, and the driver can choose one of six driving modes. At the wheel, you will find basically everything you need for a comfortable trip, including adaptive cruise control, adaptive LED headlights, improved active parking assistance, a 360-degree lane control system and much more.
