Atelier HOFELE introduced the new HG Sport model based on the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMGMay 5, 2020
German tuners finalized the already “charged” SUV Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG.
Over the past 40 years, the Gelandewagen has evolved from a versatile and military all-wheel drive vehicle to what it is today. The latest and best version is the G63 AMG. The German SUV has long been the choice of those who like to stand out and stand out from the crowd. Unlike some companies that modify and improve the G-Class cars, HOFELE does not change the technical characteristics or increase the power, this means that the initial characteristics for the G63 AMG remain the same as expected from the factory.
HOFELE specialists completely redesigned the front bumper of the Gelandewagen and equipped it with carbon fiber and dark chrome elements. LED headlights appeared on the roof of the SUV, and the original Mercedes-Benz front grill and nameplate were replaced by the HOFELE brand radiator grille, which can be supplied in various finishes: chrome, carbon or body color. HOFELE HG Sport features the exclusive 24-inch forged alloy cross-spoke wheels developed by HOFELE.
Other HOFELE exterior design features include carbon fiber components, such as a unique cover for the spare wheel mounted on the tailgate.
In the interior, the tuners replaced the standard five-seat layout and designed, manufactured and installed six seats in three rows. This obviously affected the volume of the luggage compartment, but these last two rows of seats can be easily dismantled if necessary.
The standard Mercedes-Benz leather has been replaced with a completely special finish, in this case Berry Red leather with a unique and modern stitching pattern. A very detailed punch and staple design can only be achieved using the latest computer controlled machines. Refined attention to detail can be seen everywhere. Contrasting anthracite Alcantara covers most surfaces that are not finished with Berry Red Leather, including the headliner, uprights and seatbacks.
The tuners did not report the cost of finalizing the car, but as AutoTimesNews reporters became aware, customers owning the G350d, G500 or G63 models can send their car for revision. At the same time, the factory warranty for cars will continue.
