Atelier G-Power has modernized the BMW M5October 24, 2020
The specialists of the G-Power studio have developed a new project based on the BMW M5 under the name G5M Hurricane RR.
For the modifications that turn the M5 into a G5M Hurricane RR, you will have to pay 115,000 euros, and this is without the cost of the car itself, which is offered at about the same price in Germany.
First of all, the tuners boosted the model’s 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 with 828 hp. up to 887 HP The torque remained unchanged – 1050 Nm. After increasing the performance of the unit, the sedan can accelerate to the first “hundred” in 2.5 seconds and accelerate to a maximum of 350 km / h.
The G5M Hurricane RR has 21-inch wheels fitted with 285/30 Michelin tires at the front and 295/30 at the rear. Along with this, the car was equipped with a new suspension, which allows to reduce the ground clearance by 15 – 30 mm at the front and 10 – 30 mm at the rear. The model, in particular, is equipped with a carbon fiber hood, which not only helps to reduce weight and improve aerodynamics, but also more efficient engine cooling.
In addition, a self-made Volkswagen Beetle pickup truck with a two-person tent was recently demonstrated. It should be emphasized that the construction of such a vehicle, which combines the functions of a truck and a camper, was carried out by the Modern Classic Rides studio.
