The well-known tuning studio Brabus presented a significantly upgraded version of the 2018 model-charged SUV – this is a Mercedes-AMG G63. The SUV was given the name Brabus 700 4×4² Final Edition, which is certainly a suitable name, and not only because it is the final build for the previous generation of the model. The figure 700 indicates the power under the hood of a German SUV.
It is reported that the engineers tuning studio Brabus has been seriously increased power 5.5-liter V8 engine with dual turbocharging to 700 horsepower.
This was achieved through the installation of enlarged turbines, the free flow of exhaust gases and some other changes. Torque is now equal to 960 Nm. According to representatives of the company Brabus, the upgraded SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.0 seconds. Gelik fans will note that the sprint time is not as fast as the new G63, but the Brabus version of the model is not only able to drive fast, it can overcome serious off-road.
Engineers Brabus increased the ground clearance of the Mercedes-AMG G63 to 610 mm. It is reported that portal bridges and a special suspension with electronic adjustment were installed. The driver can change the clearance as he pleases (front and rear). A choice of four driving modes available.
