Atelier Alpina will release a limited series of “charged” BMW 4 seriesOctober 26, 2018
The Bavarian Atelier Alpina presented the limited edition coupe and convertible B4 S Bi-Turbo under the name Edition 99. The cars received an engine forced to 452 hp, a titanium exhaust and five body paint options. The circulation of the special version will be only 99 copies.
From the usual Alpina B4 S Bi-Turbo, the cars with the Edition 99 attachment differ in the modified three-liter “six”, the output of which increased from 440 horsepower and 660 Nm of torque to 452 hp and 680 Nm of torque. The dynamic characteristics remained unchanged: the all-wheel drive coupe accelerates to one hundred kilometers per hour in 3.9 seconds, the rear-wheel-drive coupe and convertible in 4.2 and 4.3 seconds, respectively. The maximum speed depending on the modification is 303-306 kilometers per hour.
Alpina B4 S Bi-Turbo Edition 99 is equipped with Akrapovič titanium exhaust, which is seven kilograms lighter than the standard, Sport Plus suspension (only for the coupe), 20-inch forged aluminum wheels. In addition, the equipment includes multi-contour seats, aluminum paddles in matt black, limited-slip differential, leather and Alcantara interior trim.
In February, Alpina introduced the XD3 diesel crossover, built on the basis of the new generation BMW X3. The car received an upgraded row “six”, a new suspension and a special mode of operation of all-wheel drive.
